Personal Testimony.
Upon graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering, I embarked on a career as a Microsoft Professional Trainer. Despite my excellent academic achievements, I was taken aback by the substantial disparity between academic teachings and industry demands. It seems that the skills and knowledge the market and industry seek differ greatly from the curriculum taught in educational institutions.
At first glance, it appeared positive, yet in truth, it was the opposite. Convinced that I should advance academically, I followed that path. I succeeded again, obtaining a master’s degree in software engineering and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems. This achievement, however, only highlighted the gap I perceived. That’s when I resolved to investigate the root of the issue instead of resigning myself to it.
At first, I thought the ongoing technological revolution would reduce everything to a simple click. However, I’ve come to understand that without a strong base of knowledge, challenges remain. The correct foundation is indeed vital. It seems that without academia, industry fails to innovate, and without industry, academia cannot prosper.
I set out to design and forge a distinct pathway that connects academia with industry. This endeavor gave rise to Dahman’s Phi Services, a comprehensive organization that embodies my accumulated experience, concepts, and expertise, which I offer through published scholarly and practical projects, alongside consultancy and educational services.
